Here's an interesting Fin Review yarn that I missed last month that seems pertinent in context of our CEO's forward looking statements.

Myer judgment will have 'chilling effect' on boards

Of particular note was Andrew Watson, the head of Maurice Blackburn’s class actions practice, comment that "Justice Beach had shown that plaintiff claims had been proceeding on the right basis.“You can give a forecast which is right at the time it's given because it is based on reasonable grounds. But at a subsequent point in time, you've got to inform the market that you no longer going to make it".
