China is very discipline. They won't get involved. If they do, they will get all the blame and the Shares Market in HK will crash. Speculation is that there is large bets are placed for the HK index will fall and it will suck lager amount of money out of HK.
If the protest are taking place at any other country,it would have been shut down long ago and the fatalities will be much higher.
The HK police is restrained enough to preform their duties under a very trying circumstances.
People have the right to express their views but they don't have the right to damage public property including MTR and cross harbour tunnel to stop the society functioning. They don't have the right to stop other people to have their views.
There were a few people got bash due to expression of a view such as challenging them to be a little sensible in their method of approach was bashed simply because it not a view they share.
How can they call for freedom when they themselves don't allow other the right to express. It a two way street.
