Hi as I will be in another city on the WOW AGM day 16th of December. I was wondering if someone could mention to management in question time about our logistics situation.
Specifically to the east coast Sydney, Melbourne and Wodonga.
The first question being ' If the new Automated MSRDC is running at full capacity, why in fact are we keeping Hume MRDC and Wodonga WORDC running? This would be costing over $100 million a year to keep going.
Coles, which has a similar DC to Wodonga in Goulburn announced that they were closing this DC in 2 to 3 years, when there Sydney Automated plant was completed.
Why are we keeping an obsolete logistics warehouse going? It would make sense to announce a closure very soon ( as the lease runs out in 2021) and the cost savings passed onto shareholders Which would be at least over 50 million p.a.
