For every or most battery powered vehicles produced it will be a practical if not nesacery requirement for another battery of equal or greater size be produced and stored at wherever that electric vehicle is parked up at night.

Why? Because to replace one energy source you have to supply another. Hook it up at the recharging station at work you say. Nope. Not unless you double or triple the amount our current tapped out power stations including the coal powered base load and the intermittent wind and solar energy produces. Same can be sais for most countries in the world.

To increase the number of coal fired power stations defeats the point ( and no I'm not a greeny we should be opening more coal mines in Australia and exporting as much relatively clean Australian coal to the world as possible to replace much dirtier coal of most other countries) so it makes sence to me that it be a requirement for all or most electric vehicles be charged at home at night or when not in use from the vehicle's owners own house hold battery. The sun don't shine at night so the battery to charge the battery powered cars will have to be charged by solar power during the day me thinks.
I've proven that I can't spell so well in my previous posts and my maths isn't much better. It would be interesting to have someone or a group calculate how much extra energy will be required to power/charge each battery powered car or per 100,000 battery powered cars to be more practical.

For me the more batteries the better and the sooner the better.
