Those who had interest in AGO are traders. No investors would put money in that tiny mine which relied on trucking IO from the pit to the port and made $100s for each truck at the peak time. AGO and SYR are not comparable. The main problem with SYR is that it has to business with Chinese, nothing wrong with Chinese, just have to be cheap and get used to low profit margin. E.g., a Chinese super market may have a gross profit of 20% on average, while the Woollies and Coles have probably a 50% gross profit.

SYR is a high grade and low cost mine with the largest reserve in the world, should be very competitive, just need a bit luck and good management. Based on my limited knowledge, there are many graphite miners in the pipeline, but only two current producers outside China. Syr reduced production and the other one ceases production. Do not think any of the pipeline graphite miners would make money at current unsustainable graphite price. Need to be patient. The 10m share trade at the close was not a normal trade.
