Sturec will be an open pit operation utilising conventional mining methods. Low grade ore will be mined and stockpiled for treatment in the latter years of the mine life. The process plant will comprise conventional gravity and CIL cyanidation circuits with a 6kt/d design capacity.Gold production is estimated at around 65 thousand ounces per annum.
