There were on 15th of Nov still 95K shorted, down 47K and IMO the real number today is much smaller. After the news today, I do not think there is not so much interest to short, in spite, we are still waiting for more exact news. I would think that also the volatility will calm down. So it can be that SP will also start gradually get higher (???).
