Thanks - observed some misinformation on the historic performance of Bisantrene flying around, hence the post.

The historic performance in terms of number of patients that achieved complete remission is astounding. For clarity:

• Historically eradicated cancer ( complete remission ) in 41 adults (trials 1,2 and 4-6 below), of 89 treated
• Historically eradicated cancer ( complete remission ) in 10 children (trial 3 below), of 22 treated
• Long-term survival ( hence cure ) for 2 children (see combo poster)

To be clear definitions are:

• Cure means that there are no traces of your cancer after treatment and the cancer will never come back.
• Remission means that the signs and symptoms of your cancer are reduced. Remission can be partial or complete.
• In a complete remission, all signs and symptoms of cancer have disappeared.

For the two children with long-term survival ... they both had children after treatment!
