sorry, I thought I should put a bit more context around that previous question.

Let me start by saying that I think the vast majority of the comments from Dull et al are ridiculous and would agree with NRO's comments that if all went in favour of GGG over the next 5-10 years $30/share could conceivably occur.

I then look at things and think that given GGG is one of my largest holdings a movement to even $1/share has the potential to be life changing.

As such if you were to get offered something substantially above where we are now the psychology of a takeover offer becomes an interesting one for people in that whilst no we will all think the company can achieve greater heights the lure of being able to get your money out quickly and not having to endure the risk of further developments from there mean that surely most would be willing to take a discounted offer over perceived future value.

the question then is.....by how much?
