yep you are right insider trading which is a jail able offence is just not enforced. I do look forward to the day that there is a royal commission into dealings on the asx, the government just needs to think all the fines they could dish out, and how share values would be properly represented by share prices, and people would need to pay more capital gains tax, all of us are having to fork out $15-$19 per trade with min of $500, but on anyone day thousands of $1 or less orders are processed fee free by the insiders, oh and buy the way do what you like for the last 10 minutes when no one else can trade, everyone knows it happening why are we not making more noise?????
