I am hoping so as well - I'ld say 9-9.50 in 6-12 months, $7-$7.50 in the next 6 as I'm expecting dividend cut by about 10% in the next half year but possibly restored by 10% at the end of the year (although I think the chances of this is very low). Macro picture I reckon is better than people think - housing should be coming back strong in the last quarter, coal, LNG and iron ore exports are booming so we should be posting a trade and current account surplus which should offset weakness in the domestic economy... probably weak GDP numbers this qtr albeit +ve (strong exports offsetting weak domestic economy), hopefully RBA doesn't flinch and cut rates next year.
