I read both Chinese and English version... without the technical knowledge both seems quite hard to understand, lol.

However, I think the key point is that there is a weak magnetic field in the Kvanfiejld orebodies, that allows for use of magnetic means to separate the heavy REs from the orebodies.

I remember there was a post talking about Canadian technology to use magnetic fields to separate various REs from orebodies, I think these are somewhat related/similar technology that Shenghe is talking about. Apparently, but I don't know by how much, this should further reduce the cost of RE separation.

Go Shenghe, save us more money - basically.
