I suppose there isn't a right or wrong answer because of the following:

Can you see the future?
The AGO or the FMG scenario?
How to stop making a small loss into a big one?
The time or timing in the market?

Over the years I have been through all these dilemmas and through my experience, big windfall gains or losses presents their own issues, the usual fight in one's head between greed and fear. As I responded to SHFC, I have stopped thinking I know what the future is so there isn't 'kicking myself' if I am wrong and getting big losses nor 'kicking myself' without participating in the big gains.

How many here are 'regretting' not getting out on big gains ?
How many here are prepared for such decimation of their paper gain ?
How many here are timing it wrong and getting a deep drawdown?

Some here were the early birds still in a massive paper gain so they can still sit comfortably and hold through the down trend but others may not have such luxury. Horses for courses I guess.

I wonder how far and deep the general market sell off will infect the bullishness of the investors but what I have learned from the lessons of LT investing is opportunity cost. Good luck.
