There are many unknowns with the big 4 so price predictions are hard to make ,rest assured WBC will be back to tap shareholders for more cash to pay for the AUSTRAC fine and any class actions then the new capital arrangement in NZ will all keep a lid on profits,IMO the main challenge for the banks is how they will adapt to new technology to compete with smaller outfits that do not have a branch network and much lower operating costs we are already seeing erosion of their high margin credit card business so they all have the job ahead of them especially with the reputational damage they have all self inflicted.
