re: roadshow coming....for grant62 Hey grant

feeling even the worse for wear now but keen to make some points.

You say that the forecast of $70 million for PTL is looking stretched due to first half figures of $26 million.
However, the revenue trend yearly leading up to this is 5 million, 32 million, 42 million. If we trend this out, it will come close to the 72 million. In addition to this, we have Colin Marland ( you are right, former CEO SWt) answering this question :

Question : In the announcement it said the revenue for both companies would be 150ml
On figures you supplied it might be 100ml can you explain the difference.

Answer ( Colin Marland) : 1. I think it says "in excess of" , final forecasts are currently being tweaked as we further analyse the SWT buisness, these will be presented on the forthcoming roadshow to brokers and institutions and a copy of the presentation lodged with the ASX prior to this (scheduled to commence the week folowing completion of due dilligence)

And in another part say the sales figures for this year are 'within budget"

So..I think your question over final revenue figures are justified, and other people have asked the same question, but do you think that Colin Marland would be comitting this sort of thing to public record if he didnt know that they could be justified, especially given the current climate of corporate regulation.

Then you go on to discuss howmargins are being squeezed by noteing new offers by telco's like 3. The telco industry has always been competititve. Yet in this environment People Telecom have been able to grow their market share as disussed above. And so have SWT ( 256% increase in reveue last report). I think this is because the demand for data services is expanding so quickly, even though supply is also increasing. So..while competition is fierce, as always, both SWT and PL have grown very strongly. If you believe your own argument, then every company connected with the telco industry is a sell with the exception of TLS, as most pay for some part of the TLS service.

I do take on board the discrepancy with revenue figures. I can only say that on the forum, Colin MArland was nailed down to providing an answer, and has said they he stands by them. cough cough have been through it before ( revisions)..but in this climate of corporate regulation he really would be puttign himself on the line if not true.

Even in a worst case scenario, lets say 52 millllion for PTL, 20 million or so for SWT...thats a scenario where people would be ropeable, SWT still comes out as good value at prsent share price compared with IIN. And all the company announcements and Colin Marland in particular have been saying 70-100million.

ANyway dinner..but il look over your posts again tomorrow.
