I am quite confused by Suncorp's capital management. On one hand they released capital to shareholders, and then shortly after they sought capital investment by the Capital Notes. I found the latter difficult to understand, and simply could not spend the time to figure out what it was.
Can anytime explain to me the rationale for Suncorp's capital management?
