I don't intend to get into an argument with you, I've read all of your posts and we've exchanged comments previously and they have been cordial and I have also supported some of your points in the context of balanced opinion where you've been labelled as down ramping.

In this case I disagree with you that the announcement is desperate, there is no wording to that effect at all. There is no objective information in support of the supposition that this is done deliberately so that they may reiterate this information. In this case you have made two claims with no evidence. That is hardly nitpicking, it is simply holding you to the same account you claim to hold others to.
