I did however, what is the purpose of the shorts allowing another bounce?

Is it too expensive for the shorts to sustain a low price, (by selling shares) of around the low 80c mark?

Or, is it a strategy to encourage the selling of shares by others, so as the others make a small profit?

Giving the shorts an opportunity of purchasing these sold shares in order to cover?
