ANP in the past and is still an event stimulated share, meaning it's not yet really in the category of a runner.
So any event can stimulate a spike of possibly 50% but the market knows most ANP events historically are spaced out and interest wanes in between so the price falls back, some.
Science results are beneficial here because they aren't opinions or speculation, they are fact, so locking in a positive phase trial result would go some way to onboarding new investors in a new range, I would hope for 15-20cents.
A ph2b trial will be drawn out, so results are a way off, so a 2b trial announcement might be an event stimulus, I would guess it could add 5 to 10 cents to the share price.
The real effect could come after the current results are released in a couple of weeks combined with a ph2b trial announcement. This is the stage when interested 3rd parties can show their hand more, when there is science and forward advancement, locked in. If the share price was between 15 and 25 at that stage then the action would fire up and the share price could go into a new sophisticated range, based on interest shown and from whom, it could be powerful.
If no interest is shown, and no new events appear for MS or Acromegally then its a slow wait for ph2b to progress and the share price may wane again.
But i am a glass half full person and i hope for this trial to be locked in as a success for safety with some improvement related to efficacy, an announcement shortly for ph2b, and possibly some event surrounding MS correlated to the DMD trial results, and if really lucky then the forward movement on the Acromegaly situation on sales in EU for advanced cases.
There are so many 'ifs' so it is difficult to forecast at all the price movement of a biotech r&d business like ANP.
The R&D isn't a primary mover, results are, and income-related results talk best.
So, i have phases, and I think its currently in an 8 to 12 cent phase, and i would like it to break up to or past 16 cents around Christmas news, and if good announcements are forthcoming then i could imagine it heading to 20 to 25 cents .
If a run occurred i would see it needing to breaking about 33 cents and if so it could go anywhere after that, depending on which or what events had occurred.
So the announcement of ph2b trial may not send it to the moon, but the aftershocks and consequences following could be very appealing.
