I'm becoming more interested in the potential ACCC interest in this case. It seems clear to me that ASX is in a position to and ready to bully and adversely affect the growth of competitors emerging in its space. With ASX beginning to move into tech (blockchain) and other verticals (eg sympli) more aggressively ASX BOD seem open to aggressive tactics. ISX is playing at the edges of the core (Austraclear etc) and the potential for conflict is extreme. Add ASX executives (1 discussed so far re ID8) taking up shares in companies set to benefit at the edges of ASX's core and we have a real recipe for sh*tstorm. Most fintechs, regtechs are too small or too weak to challenge ASX which makes ISX absolutely remarkable. Next stop ACCC...
