Who do you think inputs the values into the algo trader? it isn't just point and shoot its operated by humans at a high level.
Why should they ban the practice? why don't you develop your own algo trader and see if it makes you money instead of blaming others for price dips. No one forced you to buy high.. you did that yourself.
