HADRIAN X - Dimensions and Boom Length

Hi all,

I spent some time over the last few days heavily researching the fundamentals of the Hadrian X - Since we dont receive much communication, i opted to delve deeper in to the HX. Below is my analysis, i hope it helps.

My mission:
1. To understand how big the Hadrian X is (footprint) so that i can better understand how much land is required for the HX to park up and build a house
2. To understand how far the boom extends - this enables us to get a grasp on how big of a home HX can build without having to change its position.


Results:
1. The Hadrian is based on the Isuzu F series (FVZ 260-300 model to be exact)
2. The Hadrian's dimensions are
Length: 9.8 - 10.0m maximum
Width (no stablising arms extended): 2.44m
Width (with stablising arms extended): 5.44m - the HX will ALWAYS build with its arms extended, so we must consider this for access
Overall footprint is huge: 10m x 5.44m = 54m²
3. The overall boom extension length is TWICE its resting/relaxed state (approx 22.2m at full extension).

Conclusion:
1. The HX needs ALOT of space to be able to build. If there is a house either side, HX may not be able to access this (i havent done an analysis to see whether the HX can build parked at the front of the house rather than the side)
2. With the necessary space required, the HX can comfortably build a 4 bedroom home of approximately 340m² (36 squares).
