why would they want it sealed ?
We had a small county rd sealed on a paper rd on our property that previously just had a gravel road , sealing was the worst thing we did first it collapsed from the rock trucks , due to insufficient base course and insufficient compaction , then first flood just washed the seal away , better to have a gravel road with decent side drains , and just maintain it with a grader on standby , it naturally compacts with the trucks going over it unlike a sealed road on a poor base which just pot holes itself .
