That’s the textbook illustration of “overvalued”. BUT there is an “E”. Which is rare in this nascent industry.

If you are young and just learning, let an an old stockbroker give you a free life lesson: the less you trade, the more money you’ll make. The point of this game is to buy stocks and NEVER sell them. Only the stupid sell perfectly good perfectly profitable companies.

Rich people NEVER SELL. That would be taxable. They BORROW against the inflated value of their stocks. And never have to pay the money back. They just pay interest, while their stocks slowly rise. That’s not taxable.

You ever hear how rich people never pay taxes? That’s one of the main ways.

Only poor schlubs trade in and out and pay commissions and taxes.

you are of course referring to stocks that are winning, and I agree in that scenario, but to not have a defensive position on your losing stocks seems a bit like bad management to me
