Once howard loses the next election to lathams labour later this year - we should see the new labour party lean itself more towards asia and europe - although for the next few months might see some diplomatic stuff go on.
The big question is if china / taiwan flares up - do we automatically support USA (will howard take such a move) or will we remain independant ?
