    Several things to unpack there.

One) Yes, I am pretty much up to date with vaccinations (I was in the Navy - it was ... mandatory). My kids were vaccinated. My grand kids are vaccinated. I might be overdue for tetnus. I'd have to look at my vax record booklet.

Two) There are people on this planet who can't be vaccinated for various reasons (eg, I have a friend who underwent treatment for leukemia. She relies on herd immunity to be able to function in public.)

Three) Mandatory vaccination is a response to the misinformation that is spread by antivaxxers. It (partly) started with the just plain wrong information spread by Andrew Wakefield, and somehow skipped over into the religious community in many places. It became an article of faith that vaccinations cause autism. They don't.

Then it shifted to the presence of Thiomersal (ie, a mercury compound) in vaccinations. There isn't any in most vaccines and hasn't been for decades (I may be wrong about *all* vaccines). But it certainly isn't in vaccines for kids.

And linking requiring vaccinations to protecting people from deadly diseases to a war criminal's efforts is just weird.
