That's not even what he said. He said your investment decision shouldn't be made on the basis of your emotional baggage. It should be an isolated decision on the current/forward looking fundamentals. If thats a buy or hold then fine. If that's a sell it's a sell, regardless if you're a long way in the hole. 'I am down too much' is an excuse for not having the stones to make a real decision.
