Well spotted. From those statements it would seem that WPL have achieved their primary objective of staying in the JV by delaying arbitration.
That will be a disappointment to many that have grown to dislike Woodside. I do wonder if they have already agreed upon a compensation figure in case of a loss. Otherwise how do you know that compensation liability is worth remaining in the JV from Woodsides perspective?
