Marion readies Clear Creek bit

Australian-listed Marion Energy said a directional drilling rig had moved to the Clear Creek site in Utah and was setting up to sink the Oman 10-19 well, the first of three infill wells planned on the property.

Marion said in a statement that the well would be drilled to total depth of 5700 feet to test the Ferron sandstone. The well is the first well to be drilled by Marion on the site.

Clear Creek was originally developed in the 1950s and 1960s, when 17 wells produced a total of 126 billion cubic feet of gas at an average individual daily production rate of about 3 million cubic feet per day.

Either i missed it in todays announcement, or it wasnt included: the bit where they said EACH of the 17 wells produced 3mfc of gas per day INDIVIDUALLY.
