Yep, and they'd be silly not to have that expectation.
But, the start date for the job is a bit different; this time of year and all is probably a bit ambitious (though indicative of their strategy), as it’s only a fortnight away. Could just be me being a bit suspect, too.
An update on the website or something that when/if they fill the position would be nice.
