I’d like to recommend a recently published book titled “The Breakthrough. Immunology and the Race to Cure Cancer” by Charles Graeber.
The book details the history of immunology from ancient times but concentrates essentially on the modern breakthroughs which includes Merck’s KEYTRUDA and therefore is of interest to we CAVATAK believers.
Although there is some necessary scientific heaviness (to my intellect at least!) it is in the main very approachable to the average interested reader and includes plenty of real life outcomes and the stories of the patients involved.
I wish this book had been around during the VLA years for reference. I now feel very well informed about the field of immunology and the need for CAVATAK’s potential as a part of that landscape.
