I am still completely puzzled as to why AVL suddenly took off from 14c. After all we had all been saying it was undervalued since 1997; it had jumped the government hurdles a good 4 months before, and nothing much had happened to the stock price.
Because of the apparent senselessness of the takoff after more than a year in the 11-15c range, I sat round waiting for it to correct so I could get on. It never did so after waiting for 6 years, I missed the AVL run.
Oh well if I knew what made stocks run I'd be very rich.
