Without getting personal, I wonder why many people bother to pay a salary to many of the analysts out there, if this post is an illustration of typical behaviour (and I expect it is when I read some of the bonkers narratives for recommendation summaries on the The Weekly Bull newsletter. I wonder what "Bull" is short for? ). Buying after others have bought and selling after others have sold is a great way to underperform the market, which is maybe why so many funds do (I think Graham had a thing or two to say about this as early as the 1949.)

A company like APX which is totally exposed to an important emerging and global business theme, has established robust operating financials and market leadership, deserves serious analysis. I was lucky to start building my position here at $2.75, although have been guillty of harvesting a few profits along the way and then re-entering at bargain prices based on my DCF model.

Of all the WAAAX, it has the best 2-3 year price upside potential (barring end of bull cycle), IMHO, and although its already 6% in my portfolio, I'm contemplating increasing weight tempered only by a slight concern that management don't go off doing more M&A. (LF and F8 really made great sense, but I hope discipline will be maintained, because many a great stock has been imparied by that one acquisition too many.)

For me, its still a good buy. Its one of those stocks I hold cash for the rainy day that will evenutally come and I can pile in at a bargain.
