Mate,
It was more about generating interest.
This management (because of their past actions), have absolutely no respect....even from the uneducated retail punter.
Thus, if they remain in place and nothing exceptional happens, they will just wind down the clock.
Better to get rid of the dead wood now before you need to get rid of the dead wood and raise cash at the same time.
Good drilling (possibly even exceptional), results aren’t going to be enough to save this company.
