What worries me and something I have been thinking about for a while.
Was this a massive over reaction by shaky, ignorant traders only?
Was this massive over reaction orchestrated purely by word of mouth/social media?
We all know we have bots in the ASX, thats fine whatever, do we also have bots scanning social media for panic/excitement and reporting back? And this is what helped such a large tumble on top of human sellers? A lot of those sales from 5.5 down had to be at a loss right (not taking into account malicous shorting)?
This is breaching bullshit territory I know, but it is a little tough to fathom SO MANY uneducated holders caused this drop alone. Someone smarter then me please chime in, or any programmers with experience in the industry
