Mike, Just before you go for your revolver, check the ammo - if you see a lead bullet chances are there's tin in it. Some commercial munitions have tin in their alloy but not the military.
On the high tech side, a tin/niobium alloy is used in the wiring of superconducter magnets, a la particle accelerators but until every housewife needs one of those(to activate her couch potato husband?) that won't rate too high in the Sn usage percentages. Now, if electric cars take off . . .. OK, then they'd be electric planes . . . . . that will be a different story.
