Although i hold OEL i think the point here is why such sub standard equipment, or the way it has been fitted, has managed to become part of this project.
Correct me if i'm wrong but if the riser wasn't damaged, would this problem be found before first oil.
All systems were supposedly ready to pump a few weeks ago when the final checks were run through.
Hopefully this will be the last drama.
Getting things done in third world countries is always a concern.
