On the contrary, I am espousing a very biblical view indeed.
God's revealation to man is a truthful revealation but is not an exhaustive one, so man being created in the image of God can use the same reason which God has endowed him with to detrmine how God has in fact created.
Science does not even know how life started let alone evolved as scientst still argue whether it happened gradually or in steps via the punctuated equilibrium model. All depends on what you believe, if you believe that there is no personal God and that all is random then you must believe it evolved somehow.
Think it is more logical and in keeping with observation to believe that God has created each kind with sufficient gentic material so as those kinds spread over the earth, they can adopt to their own environment. However, their is limits as dogs will always be dogs of some kind but never a cat and so on.
As for the universe itself, the big bang is the ruling scientific paradign of the day, yet we do not know how all space time and matter materialised ina singularity. Then we do not know how or what caused this singularity to explode. All big bang proceeds on this belief and then tries to fit the facts into their belief system.
Once again I refer you to www.cosmologystatement.org and you will see that science has clearly not demonstrated this as you claim.
This is why you cannot provide proof for or against the xistence of God in science, because it depends on your starting beliefs and then you try to interpret the evidence accordingly.
