It's obvious you're rabid in your opposition to nuclear power so let's just leave it at that.
If you think my training as a mining engineer somehow qualifies me to answer specific questions about nuclear power I'm sorry but after the mining, extraction and beneficiation of the ore that's it for me. I don't claim to be an expert on nuclear power and I'm not arrogant enough to pretend to be something I'm not.
Not so strong on ventilation shafts as almost all my career in hard rock surface mining.
But I'll take care of the tailings dams no worries.
I believe we have the ability to use everything leant over the past few decades to build new generation nuclear power plants and that they could provide our country with reliable baseload electricity, just like it does already in many other countries.
It would also create hi tech jobs that don't currently exist in Australia bar whoever is working already for ansto which would be only small numbers.
If you don't agree fine, but please don't make everything personal, maybe just stick with the topic not the poster?
