You could call it the 'financial horror' genre. However, it is not about being gloomy or trying to scare people into selling.
I like to read it and write it, because it gets my critical-thinking brain going. I actually find the stock market a bit boring now.
Do you realize that talking about 'opportunity cost' and missing out on X% returns, is also a type of fearmongering?
