Who cares, let shorters short and longers long. Not sure why everyone has to get upset about other peoples strategies. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all. There are investors, traders, shorters, longers, hedgers each of which comes with their own risks and challenges.
Launched already mentioned a while ago that he used Afterpay as a hedging strategy in case his long market portfolio drops. In my view its a sound strategy given Afterpay's volatility, even though it goes against my strategy of holding long. However, his strategy has no bearing on my strategy so why not appreciate it?
