Psi81 you are onto a few points there

First is the lack of availability of suitably qualified personnel- for this reason I do not believe that Cougar and Carbon will be as able to complete projects as many holders of their stocks might think. The Wages Linc will have to offer to attract skilled staff will simply price Cxy Cnx out.

As for your skills, well, I guess if anyone from Linc visited here they would see your comment. But they can’t reply. First there is no Private Message feature here (much to my annoyance) and second they can’t be seen to be lurking and interfering with comments/ SP.

May I add however, was it you that posted the comments as to their only owning 1 drilling rig of consequence or was that someone else? Small thing- but possibly a line through the name for someone that’s all.

As for the comment re the market for CTL in the USA, well, it’s a global race for energy. Its why the USA is in Iraq and Afghan and why we are there also.

And as I mentioned it’s a matter of who PB wants to get into Bed with first. Never mind the USA wanting a piece of his …. EVERYONE will NEED a piece of this.

Personally, I detest the USA’s environmental and foreign policies not to mention Country and Western Music. However. What are the (cashed up) alternatives?

China? Hmm, can we trust them and their great environmental and humanitarian records? Plus there are too many lies in business to save (their) face. And they copy your technology and then stab you in the back.

Vietnam? Now might be a good time to help this young nation develop its reserves but they are susceptible to massive internal corruption which always seems to manifest itself in construction projects being completed with shoddy materials that either blow up, fall down or sink. For that reason I’d say do them 3rd or 4th to avoid reputational risk that WILL happen.

India- too much internal beaurocracy and the place smells. Could Linc keep the engineers there long enough?

Australia? We’ll see if the Qld Gas industry has complete control over the Qld Govt in the coming months but the SA one looks like it will be a goer. Put that one down thanks to the energy needs of Olympic Dam

Which leaves us with….that land of limitless money and political clout for getting the job done…the USA. Sure their politicians are gimmicks their people are walking Type 2 limb amputations in waiting and they have a pretty poor foreign policy, but there are a few things we can count on. 1) Lots of Capital Money. 2) Know how 3) The Business of the US Govt is Business. 4) few Cultural and language barriers 5) Lots of coal and transport logistics, 6) relatively little corruption in the quality of projects undertaken 7) they won’t lie to your face to save their face 8) their personal hygiene makes working with them tolerable

So with that said I expect linc to eventually have projects in all these countries (plus others), but I expect them to hop into bed with the Americans as partners.

Apart from that I believe PB likes the Yanks anyway.

In the meantime, the Qld Gas industry surely has its next salvo ready to fire. I wonder which Lobbyist firm they will use to dump on Linc and whether that person is in a relationship with a journalist from a major daily newspaper and a member of the greens. Not to forget the brokers involved in this also. Purely hypothetical of course. No suggestions of anything improper
