The fires will put more strain on supply with vast grazing land being burnt and stock killed. As for the business the road closures will put pressure not he distribution network from the Bega factory. With extensive power outages in the Bega Valley many farmers are hand milking and feeding cows or wasting the milk because the cooling vats have no power. Some farmers have generator milk yards from when they panicked the Y2K bug was going to kill the power grid
