Yes they did. We aren't disputing this. Reports come through it collapsed. So what??? How is that proof it was imploded?? There clearly was a miscommunication. Why is that surprising on a day like that when it happens in the media all the time??
....and I'm glad you highlighted the word LIVE. LIVE meaning even more of a chance of making such a mistake.
You guys will grab anything and make it fit into your belief. Myself personally am much stronger and wiser to make unbiased, emotionally neutral judgment with the FACTS presented.
