I think both Labor and Liberal have been in power during good and bad economic times. I can't see any differences there.
The global warming/climate change debate is quiet at the moment, maybe because of the cold weather. Certainly over the past few years there has been no global warming and probably some cooling in many places so things are not looking good for the AGW believers. Gee even sea levels have fallen slightly, but as that is impossible for them to explain it's better to just say nothing.
I saw in the news on the weekend what appeared to be Penny Wong backtracking on the governments climate change agenda. I say appeared to be because it is often impossible to really know what a politicians words mean.
