Significantly in the past year alone Genesis Energy and NZ Steel imported one million tons of coal due to insufficient supplies of Waikato coal and interrupted gas supplies. At the same time this coalition NZ Government were deploring any extension of our domestic resources. That's the cost of having domestic fuel constraints.
