"Sean Burgan is Havilah's Drilling Supervisor who skillfully manages our drilling rig. Upon his return home for the Christmas break he was immediately caught up in the local (Birdwood Brigade) volunteer fighting service for many days as devastating fires swept through the Adelaide Hills, where his family lives. Sean is shown above [see photograph of Sean with a Koala inside the HAV Tweet] giving a drink to a thirsty mate he met during the fires. Sean rather modestly says "unfortunately we lost a few houses but saved countless others from the fires."
The Board of Directors is proud of you Sean, and thanks you for your efforts in the community. All the days of annual leave you selflessly gave up to fight the fires in the Adelaide Hills will be preserved in appreciation of your efforts."
