A bit of a roller coaster ride today.
Down fairly sharply early on, in response to overnight markets and events.
Then a nice recovery during the afternoon to close only modestly lower.
While I expect the volatility may continue for a while yet, this was another sign of the underlying strength in the current market.
There is no doubt a really big event overseas could bring it all down, but given a choice, this market doesn't 'want' to go down.
If it did 'want' to go down, there have been numerous opportunities to do so over the last few weeks and months.
And none have been taken.......
Sometimes when you understand what 'didn't' happen, and why,
will help you realise that the 'opposite' is more likely too happen.
(kind of like reverse understanding.........which is a bit of a weird concept, but it seems to be true)
See what tomorrow brings.....
Cheers
