    I wouldnt, hence why I dont own any MRE shares.

    As for Glencore's motives. How would I know, I'm not on the board. There could be many reasons;
    Perhaps adding a little bit of buying support to a sp that is getting creamed. Seeing as they already own a massive chunk, their balance sheet looks a hell of a lot better with MRE at $1.40 then at $1.00. It costs them a few mill to buy the shares but adds probably $100m to its balance sheet.

    Or they could be dollar cost averaging. Throwing a few bucks into MRE at these levels on the chance that nickel prices take off. For them it probably stacks up on risk / reward

    As I said, I dont know. There are a million potential reasons. All I know is if they wanted the whole company, they'd buy it. But I suspect they dont want to commit that much cash to a company in a very questionable postion.
