The cigar-butt specialists keep sucking on the stub, trying to score another last drag.
I have to say, of all the stocks I own, this one has the most "value-trap" feel to it.
Accordingly, it's a company whose upcoming result I'm not looking forward to, although this upcoming result is cycling some pretty weak bases - Profit Before Tax in DH2017 PBT was down 22% on pcp, and in DH2018 it was, in turn, down 11% on DH2017 - so hopefully there is prospect of the upcoming result portending some sort of an earnings base.
PBT anything less than $12.5m will, I feel, be disappointing.
Either way, I suspect that after the interim result, I will either own a lot more MVF shares, or none at all.
And I think there is 100% certainty that the interim dividend will be cut - possibly to 2cps, from 3cps irt DH2018 - and possibly even suspended entirely (maybe, a 20% chance).
